about us

Printwaste Recycling was established in 1983 to collect waste paper from local printers by brothers Don and Geof Robins. In the early 1990s we recognised that the change in public attitude towards a ‘green agenda’ was impacting on the commercial and business sectors, and this led us to a major expansion of our recycling service.

During Printwaste’s evolution, the need for destruction of confidential data material increased, which was reinforced with the 1998 Data Protection Act. In 2002, we achieved the accreditation ISO 9001 to formalise the Printwaste Recycling & Shredding service.

With 30 years’ experience in the recycling and secure shredding industry, our company can provide you with a professional and environmentally friendly solution to the requirements of your business.

Today, the company is still led by Don & Geof Robins, supported by a strong management team and highly trained workforce. The original aims of the business to give high customer service levels to its customer base has been maintained. Our customers now range from large PLCs to SMEs, and we continue to successfully grow our business.
