Back in February, we (Printwaste) were proud sponsors of an evening event down at one of Cheltenham’s premier Chinese restaurants – The Mayflower – in order to celebrate the Chinese New Year and raise money for a charity we’re hugely privileged to support – Crimestoppers UK. By the end of the evening, together we had raised just over £3,900 – a record amount from a sell-out crowd.
Darren Stevens, Vice Chairman of Gloucestershire Crimestoppers was in high spirits stating “We were delighted with the support we received from Printwaste and our other sponsors. This helped make it our most successful Chinese New Year Dinner ever and the amount raised will go towards funding campaigns to raise the profile of the anonymous 0800 555 111 number and meeting claims for rewards”.
Crimestoppers aids in promoting the charity within the Gloucestershire community, letting households know that Crimestoppers is there to support them as an anonymous route to give information regarding crime.
