News

Printwaste Recycling and Shredding have this month launched a new initiative to support local charity Cobalt, by raising essential funds and helping to raise awareness.

The initiative sees Printwaste donate up to 10% of new sales generated throughout the campaign directly to Cobalt.

The initiative applies to new Printwaste customers who use the activation code Cobalt and who are located within a GL postcode. It is also available to existing local Printwaste customers who use the code on new services that they are currently not benefiting from.

Geof Robins, Finance Director at Printwaste, said:

“We are delighted to be growing our already long standing relationship with Cobalt, by launching this initiative. The great news is that the more waste that is collected, the more Cobalt will benefit financially. What’s more, with our zero waste to landfill ethos, the environment will benefit too.”

Julia Jenkins, Head of Fundraising at Cobalt, said:

“We are in need of a new MRI Scanner that has the latest technology at the Cobalt Imaging Centre in Cheltenham. This is a great offer from Printwaste and will really help Cobalt to raise the vital funds needed.”

In addition to this initiative, Printwaste also support Cobalt by putting Christmas card recycling bins in local businesses to generate funds on behalf of the charity.

Printwaste operates across 2 sites in Gloucestershire and its Head Office is located in Cheltenham. For more information on Printwaste please visit www.printwaste.co.uk
