Confidential

Organisations are constantly producing waste, but a lot could be confidential. Knowing what you can and can’t shred is the first battle to protecting your business and effectively getting rid of your unwanted documents.

You should shred anything with:???

  • A signature
  • An account number
  • Personal details
  • Medical & legal information

This can include any of the following, as well as other types of documents:

  • Bank receipts
  • Cancelled cheques
  • Credit & debit card bills
  • Address labels
  • CVs
  • Driver’s licences
  • Medical records
  • Documents containing passwords or pin numbers
  • Employment contracts

Remember to shred all of the documents listed above as soon as possible to avoid any problems arising in the future. Shredding takes no time compared to the amount of fuss created when dealing with identity theft! However, if you’re too busy to shred, have tons of documents to be destroyed or simply need some assistance, we can help!
