From boxes to bales: Containers that save space and boost recycling
Cardboard waste looks different for every business. Offices and retail spaces often generate smaller volumes from packaging and deliveries, while warehouses and production sites can quickly build up bulk loads. Without the right storage in place, it can take over valuable space and risk contamination, making recycling harder.
At Printwaste, we help you take control of that space. By tailoring container systems to your site layout and volumes, we keep your cardboard clean, contained and ready for recycling — improving efficiency and supporting your sustainability goals.
For small volumes:
- Heavy-duty Bags
- Office Bins & Stations
- 240L & 360L Bins
For larger volumes:
- 660 & 1100L Bins
- RORO Containers
- Compactors

Frequently asked questions
Can you recycle all forms of cardboard?
We can recycle most forms of cardboard, such as those listed above, along with packaging from consumer goods.
Can I include wet or contaminated cardboard?
We prefer clean cardboard wherever possible. Cardboard contaminated by oil, food waste, grease or moisture is harder to recycle and can affect the quality of the recycled material. While we can recycle most cardboard, some might need to be disposed of as waste-to-energy if it is in poor condition. We will sort and grade your cardboard waste at our material recovery facility and recycle everything in a suitable condition.
How do I get started with your cardboard recycling service?
Getting started is simple. The first step is to request a waste audit, where our experts will visit your premises to understand your specific needs and current waste management practices.
During the audit, we’ll review how much cardboard – and other waste streams – your business generates, assess your storage needs and identify opportunities for improvement. We will then provide a full report with specific recommendations tailored to your business needs.
Why do I need a waste audit?
We believe in bespoke solutions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. A waste audit allows us to understand your business objectives and challenges, enabling us to create a tailored solution that reduces your costs and maximises efficiency.
