Printwaste Recycling & Shredding has won Family Business of the Year at The Gloucestershire Business Awards. The awards took place at a gala dinner at The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse on Thursday 13 October. The awards are one of the leading business awards in Gloucestershire and celebrate excellence and innovation across larger corporations, family run enterprises and small businesses.
There were 14 categories in total, all of which were rigorously judged by an independent panel of sponsors and experts within their chosen field.
We entered the Family Business of the Year category as a two-generation family run business, launched by brothers Geof & Don Robins in 1983, with active succession planning to next generation cousins Tom, Hannah, Jenny, and Chris. We believe we offer a credible example of sustained growth through family leadership, providing an environment for personal and professional development to all 83 of our team members. It seems the judges thought we did too!
Some members of the team attended the event at the Centaur and were able to celebrate our success with other local businesses. Don Robins, Managing Director of Printwaste Recycling & Shredding said “We are delighted with another award win this year, this time in recognition of the innovation & excellence that we have achieved as a family run business.
